Re: Elderly Man Jumps to His Death in Lagos Lagoon, Nigeria
That boat is gonna do its best to save him. The people on board will revive him, provide him CPR and medicine, then hand him to the mob who will lynch him and burn him alive.

No one over there knows how to bathe, let alone swim, so, he's a goner.

Little did those idiots realize, the man popped up on the other side of the bridge/overpass, gave them the finger, swam to shore, and escaped with the money he stole. Almost perfect plan, as he'll need lots of money to buy penicillin to thwart the infections from that water.

Re: Elderly Man Jumps to His Death in Lagos Lagoon, Nigeria
Nah, those gathered around him were no mob. They were pleading with him not to jump and calling him "Father" repeatedly. Seeing someone that age in such a state would have been dire for them. He doesn't fit the profile of a typical thief. A mob would have pushed him into the water already. Or, made more of a concerted effort to pull him up so they could necklace him instead. |
