Brazil, The Civil Police opened an investigation into the death of the elderly couple who crashed their car into a truck parked outside a gas station on Sunday afternoon.

The victims are retired woman M. L. G. V, aged 72, and agricultural engineer R. S. V, aged 76.

The elderly woman starts the vehicle shortly before the gas station attendant begins refueling, at around 3:20 pm. Then, from another angle, it is possible to see the car traveling in a straight line until it hits the truck.

The victims were rescued and taken to the an Emergency Care Unit but died hours later.

Police are waiting for the expert reports, an examination was carried out on the vehicle, at the scene, the bodies were also sent to the IML to undergo forensic examination, to find out if the driver had any sudden illness or crisis that caused that reaction of accelerating the car. And the objective of examining the car is to find out if it had any mechanical defects.

P.S. R.I.P.... Cabin intact, crumple-zones did the job... really strange that they both died; the impact looked rather low-impact for a terminal impaction.
