Who says that's true?! That he's "intel?!" The murderers? No matter what that poor man's last statement was, it was precisely what they wanted him to say...verbatim! With guns pointed at your face, not just cameras, you'll say/read loud anything! Incidentally, it's not just the captors threats of death that keep their prisoners in line, but rather "false assurances," i.e. that everything's going to be fine, if you just do your part! Truth is, they'd already committed to slaughtering him before even taking him...
