He didn't want to jump but he also didn't want to burn. People think jumping is a choice but you simply cannot resist retreating from fire. At least he was only on the 4th floor so his chances were better outside than in.

100% survivable. How do I know? I fell that far. I landed on my feet, which promptly collapsed before me, and I was unabl to walk for weeks, but its wholly survivable depending on how you land. |
