Re: East New York Nurse Hit and Run Over by a Backhoe Loader
I’m in that area regularly and it’s always busy with cars and construction. I feel bad for this woman, but have some self preservation. You are walking across a Brooklyn street, with a construction vehicle in front of you with its reverse signal beeping and you are looking at your phone. Whose fault is it in the end?

Never walk around any kind of traffic with your head up your ass or your phone |

Re: East New York Nurse Hit and Run Over by a Backhoe Loader
Hard to confirm in the vid, but what you want to bet she had noise cancelling earbuds in? Oblivious to the world around her; I feel worse for the backhoe operator! He isn’t going to forget this day anytime soon.

Re: East New York Nurse Hit and Run Over by a Backhoe Loader
This is what I was thinking! Why is the worker responsible for monitoring the backhoe's movements in front of the machine? I would think that that company is potentially going to be in big trouble.
