Poor bastard. IMHO, I think he will probably die. As medical personnel, how do you even begin to think you can work with that?
It's a crazy mess, but I guess they start working from the inside out, starting from criticals and working their way to cosmetics.
First thing, isolate the larger blood vessels and stop the bleeding. Then, evaluate which organs you can save. From there, probably try to save some of those guts. The legs and pelvis probably have to go in their entirety.
There are people who have survived injuries like that, and have half of their body missing, from the belly button down.
