Re: Drunk Driver Hit and Kills 72-year-old Grandfather
Maybe I'm wrong, but didn't it seem like the driver was going a bit fast and didn't even appear concerned about swerving or braking? I know it's easy to Monday-Morning Quarterback stuff like this and say "Well I'd a-done backtraced it and not goofed!", but I find it hard to believe that the couple could be considered at fault here. It could just be that I'm shit at gauging distance/speed. |

Well, actually, it's actually that you are shit at understanding what 'fault' means. You are the type of person that thinks if you cross the street at a crosswalk and get hit, that it is not your fault. Well that's because you are fucking brain dead. If you walk in front of cars that are moving really fast, it IS your fault. Nobody made you walk there. It doesn't matter if the driver is drunk, or texting, or sleeping, or whatever. Everyone is responsible for protecting their own bodies, and to close your eyes and walk in front of a vehicle (whether you have the right of way or not) means you must have a death wish.
