A man died in a confrontation with the police on Ilha de Itaparica, Bahia state, Brazil, on the afternoon of this Thursday (29). According to the police, the suspect allegedly shot at the police and during the escape crashed into a building, and the vehicle ended up catching on fire.

A package of cocaine was found in the trunk of the vehicle and a pistol was found in the front seat, which were sent to the police station in the region for registration. According to the police, the suspect who died was known as "Lobo" and he served as a local drug-dealing boss.
