So how would that kill you in the long run? Simply blood loss I'd imagine, but I can't claim to understand how a whip does trauma aside from tear the skin.

You can absolutely whip someone to death. The ancient Romans, as well as other cultures, did it all the time... even American slave owners had been known to do as much. Tearing skin exposes muscle, tearing muscle exposes bone, and your lungs are basically right below your ribs in the back. If you break ribs there, which a hose filled with dirt can easily do (I'm not implying whether the hose was indeed filled with dirt or not), that would potentially, and probably, pierce and deflate one or both lungs. Not to mention your heart is right there as well... Your spinal cord is yet another option - break the spine/spinal cord high enough and you lose the ability to do about everything, including breathe, though that would be at the highest levels of the cervical spine. Another way would be whipping lower on the torso, below the protection of your ribs. There are a lot of organs that are unprotected in that lower torso area that with enough force, as I'm sure y'all know, can be lacerated without even breaking the skin, which causes internal bleeding which, if untreated, would eventually cause death. I am sure there are at least a few other ways but this is enough for the sake of discussion. |

It’s strange to me how people take their story at face value. When do Eastern Europeans ever tell the truth? Of course they will paint this guy as a dealer, or molester, or whatever else they think will justify their actions to their handlers.
