Looks like he let off the brakes most likely in the hopes/anticipation of passing the truck via the right lane… he wasn’t even slamming his brakes when he came into camera view, looks like he just tapped them at first to slow down a little but then realizes “oh shit, there’s another trailer blocking the right lane” and then that’s when he hits his brakes hard…
