Hint: they get to keep their guns, so knives, chainsaws, etc aren't a threat to them, only other guns are. They don't want to ban guns per season they want to ban civilian force parity so they can rule and conquer.

Autonomous swarm weapons and sentry systems will soon make gun ban enforcements impossible anyway when a civilian can surround and overwhelm the SWAT of any agency in seconds with some open source software and hardware.

Had to explain to someone how my locking my doors for the bad guys protection not mine. That it was because I want to avoid shooting someone if I can help it.

You see, if my door is locked they waste time trying to get in jiggling the handle, banging the glass, etc giving me time to point my firearm at them and provide them time to reconsider and abort. But if they are already inside instantly with no barrier between us and hands on me, theres no time for that, it's automatic shoot straight from the draw contract range no sights or aiming.

As usual with China, information is, at best, scant and unreliable. There is no official word, but the most widely spread backstory is that a man killed both his wife and her adulterous lover at the construction site.
