Re: Dogs and Humans
now im not defending the onlookers who ignored a baby screaming in a puddle of the childs own blood. (just speculating that the child likely did cry as it was still conscious when the mother finally got to the scene), but i find that yeah, some people are cold and heartless, but i feel that what happened here was that each person just assumed someone else would help, but what i find intolerable are people who were more worried bout their clothes dirty than saving a babys life, but the single most fucked up part of that situation, is the fact the first van ran her over due to carelessness and disregard for life, and then there are the other vehicles following behind and they decided it was the time to be aware of the surroundings not cuz theres someone dying, but rather they didnt want to be late for dinner or some other menial, insignificant task. so i have been asked by others and had seen the question "when did we lose our humanity?" the answer to that is We lost our humanity the instant we decided to place a monetary price on other peoples lives. personally, despite the fact it was an accident, the driver who hit her first. should have to face the consequences, and if not by jail time, then by having his licences revoked for life, an idiot like that guy has no business driving anything that can injure, kill or maim others...

Re: Dogs and Humans
i have 2 separate videos of the news report on the dog that pulled the other one out of the street. why 2? the first one is the one in the beginning of the video. the other one is basically the same except at the end, they said the injured dog died. the video asks "when did we lose our compassion? when did we lose our humanity?" probably in china the answer would be "when we lost our pocketbook for having compassion and humanity." why people in china don't help injured people: In 2006, a Nanjing man who escorted an elderly woman to the hospital after she broke her leg was ordered to pay 40 per cent of the woman?s medical bill. The rationale: It was inconceivable that the man would go to such lengths to help the woman if he wasn't somehow responsible for her injury. not only one's pocketbook but imagine helping, then being thought as responsible for the childs injury, then the child dies, who is going to be charged with the child's death? of course the same person thought to some how be resposible for the childs injuries. god only knows if you would spend the rest of your life in some hell hole prison or if they would simply execute you then and there. to top things off, your family very well may be charged for the bullets used to execute you. sad but the chinese government and authorities seem to have no idea what compassion or humanity is. or else they consider compassion and humanity as a weak point, something one should be punished for. |

Re: Dogs and Humans
Agreed. Black people are too busy blaming whites for their problems that they can't get themselves out of a rut. And White people are too busy worrying what the black guy in a hoody 4 blocks down is up to that they can't notice the white pickpocket that just made off with their wallet /purse. We need to stop worrying about our differences and start worrying about love |

Re: Dogs and Humans
This video made me break out in tears. It is the most heartbreaking video I have ever seen. Two different cars run over the little girl and people just walk by like its nothing Some people are just f****d up and don`t care about anything or anybody else but themselves. I really hate our species in cases like this.... Makes me sick.... |
