Dispute Between Two Indian Jewellers Results In One Being Shot Dead
Amritsar, Punjab state, India A jeweller, Simarpal Singh, was shot dead outside his shop by fellow jeweller Jasdeep Singh Chann. According to police, Jasdeep came to Simarpal's shop, where they had an argument over the transaction of gold. Jasdeep went away, but hours later he returned and resumed a heated argument. The two men walked outside, where Jasdeep shot Simarpal in the head. Simarpal was declared dead on arrival in hospital. Jasdeep has been arrested. |
