I was going to say that it was just another airline flight in Colombia, and someone was were just cleaning up the debris field. A couple of suitcases more or less in a plane crash, don't make THAT much difference.

The deceased was identified as 42-year-old scientist Alessandro C., an Italian citizen who was based in London.

Alessandro had worked as a senior science policy officer for the Royal Society of Biology. He left the RSB in 2024, and was researching local animal species throughout South America.
