Dismembered Body of Bangladeshi Businessman Found Wrapped in Plastic
The dismembered remains of 62-year-old businessman Jasim U.M., were found wrapped in polythene in Narayanganj, in the Greater Dhaka area of Bangladesh. The body had been dismembered into seven parts. An investigation resulted in the arrest of Jasim's 28-year-old lover, Ruma Akter. A search of her apartment found a machete, a knife, and a safari suit belonging to Jasim. Ruma confessed the crime to police. According to her, she discovered that Jasim was in a relationship with another woman. Furious, she lured Jasim to her apartment, where she drugged him by adding sleeping pills to his milk, before murdering and dismembering him. |
