So did nobody notice the gun on the floor next to all that blood. I mean maybe he was going to kill himself or chickened out but I don't think that is the case. What is the source on the story, that is a lot of blood.

Oops, my apology/misunderstanding. I thought that most people/humans -CERTAINLY NOT ALL- still deserve respect & sympathy, compassion, kindness, pity. That "shit hole" might have been all he could afford. Maybe he only had a 6th grade education[no fault of his own] and had worked hard from age 12. Some folks are fortunate & some are not.
