I analyzed this video for about 15 minutes, my observations are as follows: animal food provided, throw rugs on floor and furniture, no dirty dishes in the sink, sheets were on the bed. The home may have been nasty, but the cancer victim made attempts to keep things clean so lay off the ugly comments. Also, the lady doing the video shows compassion. She is heard saying "Oh Gary, God love you", "poor thing", "I'm so sorry". Even the police officer shows compassion in his voice and explanation by explaining where they thought the episode started and warning her of the condition of the bathroom and what to expect in there.

Well, you know a lot of renters just want to be left alone when it comes to the landlord. Also, I'm sure that in the process of dying, for some, it is a very personal and private matter for them. We really don't know, perhaps the cancer victim had some limited home health care. Certainly, with limited income & health care and his terminal illness, he may have gotten as much help that was available. A big factor was not having any family for support. I just know that I would not want to die alone and in this manner.
