Three people were killed while four others, including two children, were injured in an accident involving five vehicles at the Kuala Lumpur Highway in Malaysia on Sunday.

In the accident eight other victims, consisting of drivers and passengers of three other vehicles, survived.

The accident involved a five-tonne lorry and four cars, a Honda Accord, Proton Waja, Proton Saga and Subaru.

The three victims who were riding in the Honda Accord, consisting of a man and two women, were confirmed dead, while three other individuals in the vehicle were injured.

In addition, the driver of a five-ton lorry was also reported to be injured.
