Antonio Edwardes is a man arrested for a crime in Dallas who was initially identified by social media users as the alleged perpetrator of a troubling shooting that occurred at the Pink Apartments in Highland Hills, Dallas TX.
Edwardes, 37, was arrested and booked in Dallas County, Texas, on October 15 for an unknown reason.
However, social media users alleged his arrest was due to a murder that took place in Highland Hills, following a dispute, with the entire incident captured on video.
However, later information from the police pinned the murderer as 22-year-old Alonzo Green who shot and killed Quentin Brown, 36, in a dispute over a woman.
Police were called to the scene following the shooting and found 36-year-old Quentin Brown shot and in the parking lot. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.
The affidavit shows officers had contact with the suspect and Brown minutes before the shooting happened. During that contact, officers took down the license plate number.
Officers started a search for the suspect who witnesses revealed left in a Silver Dodge Charger.
He was found about five miles away in the Red Bird neighborhood and arrested. Police say Green had blood on his shoes and the gun was found inside the Dodge Charger.
Green told detectives he drove from his home to the parking lot and shot Brown.
Detectives said a witness revealed she was in a sexual relationship with both men and they’d been fighting over her. Authorities are keeping her identity secret at this time.
Alonzo Green has been charged with murder. Investigations remain ongoing.
