Dad and Daughter Inside a Car Were Shot and Killed by Hitmen
Ecuador, Eduardo S. M. C, a boat captain and his daughter Claudia M. R, were victims of an armed attack on Christmas night Dec. 24. A total of 5 people were inside the vehicle during the attack. They're from the same family, who were coming from the province of Santa Elena and returning home. Hitmen took advantage of the red traffic light to shoot at the car. Nineteen bullet cases were found at the scene. Two minors (one a baby) and an adult who were in the car were taken to a health center. |

There were a total of 5 people. The original post stated that the daughter and father were killed. The other adult and two minors were taken to the hospital. I think you misread.

I didn’t misread anything. Father and daughter killed. If he was in cahoots with cartel or was being pressured about money and refused, someone put a hit out on him. Hitman took advantage of the red stoplight and fired some 19 rounds into the vehicle. I somehow doubt the hit was put out on his daughter. So, in my mind, I made the assumption, not always a good thing, that the father had something to do with why they were targeted so with that assumption would consider him the responsible party who also got his daughter killed right along with him. I didn’t misread. I projected my opinion in the matter, nothing else.  |
