Cyclist Going Downhill Fatally Pierced by Metal Rods Transported by Truck
Ecuador. A cyclist was traveling downhill around 5 AM when he collided head-on with a truck traveling in the opposite direction. The impact was fatal due to the truck's cargo, metal rods, which pierced the cyclist's chest, killing him at the spot. The truck driver was detained at the scene. Investigations by the Traffic Accident Investigation Service are ongoing to confirm if the truck's protruding load complied with safety regulations for residential areas. |
