Re: ~Cyclist Gets His Head Popped~
All the awful deaths I’ve seen on this site over the years, this is the one I’d pick for me. A quick fall and you’re gone; no pain, no agony, no existential dread. Sure, it would be traumatic for those who witnessed it but what the fuck would I care? My head would be across the street. |

Re: ~Cyclist Gets His Head Popped~
I don't even ride my bike on city roads that have bike lanes. Drivers can't be trusted these days. Too many don't care, are not paying attention or are looking for someone to run over.

Re: ~Cyclist Gets His Head Popped~
If you look very closely, and I did, frame by frame, you will see that his head is probably intact. The bus rolled over his hips, and up his torso. It appears that it crushed his hips and rolled up his torso, and basically forcibly pushed his organs out through his thoracic cavity. I think that bloody mess that flies out is lungs, heart, etc which also explains the massive amount of blood. There wouldn’t be THAT much blood volume just in your head. Watch the video full screen and go frame by frame. You’ll see it. |

Re: ~Cyclist Gets His Head Popped~
But all those seconds falling, tumbling under the bus, knowing the wheel is coming for you; That shit had to be agony. Or maybe absolute terror overrides everything and all you think is “FAAAAHK!!!!” Oblivious to what comes next. Hopefully that guy was oblivious. If I were to pray, I’d pray he was knocked unconscious before he ended up under the bus. Satan, please; take him before he’s aware of what’s to come. |

Re: ~Cyclist Gets His Head Popped~
I don't understand all the comments about the biker doing it to himself for driving on 'the buslane' etc.. It's not allowed in many countries to ride bycicles on sidewalks and unless it's a highway, cyclists and other 'weaker commuters' should be protected. At least here we have bycicle lanes on a higher level than car lanes in most places and very well separated from where cars drive, we even have road where it's forbidden for cars to pass cyclists, they actually have to drive behind them at speeds around 10 km/hr so for me it's this man's government's fault for not providing safer infrastructure.

Re: ~Cyclist Gets His Head Popped~
It even looks like the bus driver TRIED to get over as much as the lane would allow. I cannot tell if the bus hit him or if he got against the curb and lost his balance. Gonna get flames for this but if there ain't a bike lane just stay on the sidewalk.
