~Cyclist Gets His Head Popped~
 Brazil~Run over by a bus... As the 'Jornal de Piracicaba' reported, a man was run over and killed while riding a bicycle along Avenida Comendader Luciano Guidotti this Monday morning(22), in Piracicaba.The fatal victim is Jose da Costa Goncalves, 57, a resident of the Ary Coelho. According to information, the accident occurred at 8:25 am in Jardim Caxambu. The 44 year old bus driver said that he was driving along the avenue when he heard the noise of something hitting the right side of the bus. "When I looked in the rear view mirror I soon saw a bicycle and an individual on the ground." the driver informed in a police report. He says that he realized Jose was lifeless when he got off the bus to help. The accident was captured by the security camera of a nearby establishment. The Military Police was at the scene and isolated the area until the arrival of experts from the IC(Institute of Criminalistics). Subsequently, the body was sent to the IML(Institute of Forensic Medicine). The case was registered with the UPS(Judiciary Police Unit)as manslaughter. The driver was released after giving his testimony. |

Makes me wonder if the idiot would survive if he just goes up to the sidewalk instead of cycling where buses and cars would go... Unfortunately for him, the lady and the dog were there sooner, therefore "force" him to just calmly cycling to his death His head popped up like a baloon  |

I'm sure his family is crushed. Bicyclists should tread lightly in traffic. He didn't even have time for a guttural scream. That should curb his appetite for eco-friendly transportation. The bus was just showing him a token of it's affection for sharing lanes. He should have head out on a bike lane instead.
