Attacking a guy with a gun who just shot a man in cold blood is just plain stupid (he may not have seen the 1st shooting, but he must have seen the gun). He tried to tackle the shooter several times, and failed miserably. You can try to play hero if you at least have the potential to safe the day. But this guy didn't seem in shape at all, and he didn't know what he was doing either.
