Re: Crazy dutch guy stabs his ex girlfriend 70 times in her neck
The problem with the justice system, and why this continues to happen, he only got 40 months? He should have been sentanced to life hard labor..

Re: Crazy dutch guy stabs his ex girlfriend 70 times in her neck
All you fucking keyboard heros. She's alive because of those bystanders. This isn't like a video from china where people just walk past and do nothing. 2nd point, the reason they restrain him and that's it is because we believe in the rule of law. Again this is something maybe that you backwards fucks don't understand. 3rd, I'm sure you're all fucking heros but despite the fact she survived 70 blows does not mean that one unlucky one to the heart of a rescuer couldn't have killed them. All in all they are to be applauded. |

Re: Crazy dutch guy stabs his ex girlfriend 70 times in her neck
To think that some people would rather not get their hands dirty or risk going to jail to save someone's life is really pathetic. Flame on me, I don't care, but at the very least I would've restrained this prick. Considering the guy only went away for 40 months for attempted murder I'd take whatever charge they threw at me. At least I'd be able to live with myself knowing I tried to intervene when I could.

Re: Crazy dutch guy stabs his ex girlfriend 70 times in her neck
I lived in amsterdam for awhile and I have witnessed this "let's not get involved" attitude they have towards criminal acts. No one tries to be the hero over there. I've seen people being beaten and robbed on busy streets crying out for help, and the people just turn away and keep walking. I'm envious of their culture and health and beauty, but this aspect of their society sickens me. I like to help people when I can, and I hope someone comes to my aid. Just don't expect them to in Holland.
