Cops are never going to "sacrifice their life for a civilian". They are humans doing a job, not martyrs. The US supreme court has ruled that cops have no responsibility to "protect" civilians. The responsibility of your protection falls on yourself.

guessing you never heard of the pledge cops make to "protect and serve".....they should never had made the decision to be a cop if they were scared of enforcing the law and confronting a violent criminal while on duty...these cowardly fuckers deserve nothing less than an accessory charge for aiding the murderer in the commission of his crime, and receive the harshest sentence possible for the fact that they ARE cops and were unjustifiably negligent in their duty, and the idiot who said that they weren't scared just slow needs to be flogged also for such a stupid pathetic attempt to defend them for their part of the killing...no wonder the u.s is fucked, our country was stupid enough to get a loan from a bunch of cowards.....on the bright side though, since they feel it was ok to just be slow at making an attempt to save a persons life when they were fully capable of taking action, im pretty sure they wont have a prob with us stiffing them on the loan cuz we would just be slow at paying them back.
