The male customer knew exactly what he was doing. Without hesitation he willingly handed over his valuables - "Here's my shit folks, I hope you know what's coming." Almost too compliant, but I'm pretty certain Bonita and Claudio didn't notice the subtle cues of a person waiting to exact some payback.
As soon as the perps were distracted, he pops up like a whack-a-mole and puts the hurt to 'em. Dude had some steely nerve to be patient enough to wait for the right moment.
Just curious as to why he fled afterward. I would have taken back my belongings from her and then strolled away. Maybe he didn't want to discuss matters with the authorities due to unrelated issues?
He probably didn't want to get shot, the robber pulled out his gun also.
He didn't know how bad the robbers were hurt probably and ran out.
