Good point. Corvettes are still made from fiberglass, last time I checked a long time ago. IIRC Corvettes are far and away the deadliest car in the USA based on stats.

That's not entirely true... its depends on the surface of the road.. a race track is much smoother than a regular road, hence slicks will shine there. Slicks on the street actually tend to suck. A slick or bald tire might actually have less grip due to the imperfections in the asphalt of a regular road with a rough surface

Citations needed. Corvettes might have composite bodies, but they are all full steel framed.
