Re: Corn Vendor Fatally Struck by Loose Tractor-Trailer Wheel
I can't believe the guy walking by didn't give a shit and kept walking. At least stop and call an ambulance or the cops |

Re: Corn Vendor Fatally Struck by Loose Tractor-Trailer Wheel
My mother, who had a great sense of humour (*), was once towing a trailer and had a wheel depart from the trailer. Oddly, in that circumstance, the wheel always seems to overtake the vehicle. Her response was to sing "You picked a fine time to leave me, loose wheel...". (*) Some traits skip a generation. |

Oh I know that line. I sing it to my wife when she goes off the tracks. And I've had the identical experience of watching one of my wheels roll a few blocks while I followed along behind.
