Ukrainian Man Blows Himself Up During Conscription
A Ukrainian conscript blew himself up as military recruiters inspected him at a military enlistment office in Odessa, southwestern Ukraine, on Friday. Military recruiters spotted a “suspicious man” who tried to flee but was caught and brought in for inspection, where he was identified as a conscript. During the check of his belongings, he pulled a hand grenade from his pocket, removed the pin, and then put it back. Seconds later, it exploded, killing him instantly, seriously wounding one military officer, and injuring four others. |
