actually, i have used stun guns on several occasions. living in the Philippines and having a job in marketing will give you a lot of opportunity to do so. walking in manila streets, i've met sneaky guys who would grab my shoulder bag, or laptop bag or one have tried to approach me as i was getting inside my car. i carry a flashlight/stun gun in my shoulder bag and pepper spray on my belt if im wearing jeans and loose blouse. I also have a LLama .380 in my car's glove compartment but have never pointed them at a person so far. so i know exactly what a few thousand volts of sudden electricity can do. This is exactly what my flashlight/stungun looks like. cost me just under 12 USD in online shopping, i bought 5. that two line like metal strips in the light cover are the terminals. Of course it's made in china so they lied when they said it emits 10 million volts. It's not strong enough to kill a healthy person but, hey, i hate violence. I'm good with seeing them fall and twist around a bit then i go my way before they recover.  there's a thing called maximum tolerance on police officers. and teamwork. egging a criminal by inching forward while negotiating is not exactly a logical thing to do. nobody's been killed yet in this case and seeing as no one else is around, no other civilian would likely be harmed by that. it wasn't until the police started inching forward that the man went for the hammer. Guns are for last resort in police work. if talking can prevent a killing, that's what they are supposed to do. it's the lowering standards of police recruitment anywhere in the world that produces weak and nervous policemen like these. although im not speaking in general. i've known a few who would talk on the phone and munch a few cookies while under fire. and i know some who would fire first and ask question later when surprised. |

haha. you would probably do that. walk to a danger when you know what you hold is far inferior than your opponent. why would i walk into a person who holds a hammer when i know i hold a weapon that must be used up close? an intelligent person would find way to get close without being obvious until its too late. a loose brained one would think with ego and false bravado and charge with eyes closed.  better read more and understand things before making half-brained comments. i said to someone, taser would have been enough against the hammer. the other one said, have i tasered someone and do i know what its like to stun someone. so i said i did on several occassons with my stungun (which is almost the same thing as taser in case you dont know) and i know how its like. did i say i would use a close contact stungun against a hammer weilding person? Reading and comprehension are taught in primary grade. you missed it? oh. i forgot, you must have been cooped then dawg.. haha. sorry Mod. i'll stop now. guys like these are just amusing i cant stop myself from retaliating.
