Understandable, but not 100% justified.

The deceased did not make any movement towards the officers. He was kneeling by the car there. He was acting rather erratically, and he was armed, so there's that. I think this case is pretty much 50/50, could have been resolved better with much more tact, though the stakes were too high to play "nicey nicey".

But some of you are just blind followers of authority, who worship at the feet of folks with money and/or power. If a man in blue asked for your wife's severed head on a plate, you would chop her head off just to please the damn copper. You wish you were them. You lust for control and power. This is the same mindset that many serial killers have (or had), like the BTK Strangler.
