They knew beforehand that she was actually crazy and having an episode literally threatening to kill herself. The cops rushed over there as fast as possible to ensure THEY killed her instead of her doing the honors.

I was a police officer for 32 years. You have no idea how quick a person, man or woman, with a knife can rush up on you and stab you before you have a chance to draw your firearm and defend yourself. I am not and never have been an intentional killer. The fatal shootings I have been involved in were because the dumb shit suspects would not follow very clear and simple commands. And I’ve been in situations where it took 6 men to control an amped up 140lb woman. So the sex of the person has nothing to do with it. I’ve been shot and stabbed. And I worked in the worst gang, crime and dope infested shitholes that SoCal has to offer. So before you judge any cop, make sure you have walked in their shoes. Speak from experience, not just your personal inexperienced POV.
