yeah... I'm just still not sure if the cops are safe enough. I mean there's only two of them plus the backup units. And the guy DOES have a Swiss Army knife. I mean you have no idea what the corkscrew on those things can do. I mean if a cop on a college campus can't enforce a 10-20 foot "don't touch me I'm a fucking pussy" no fly zone, then that's it the world is chaos. Honestly, these cops are doing their jobs to the best of their ability, which will have to do for now because robot/drone cops have not come online yet so primate cops will have to do, and also Best Buy and Sears laid off a ton of cashiers so they are trying their best ok. |

This is ridiculous. If this happened in the UK nobody would be dead. I understand cops in the US need to carry guns because its so easy for civilians to get them; but just because you carry one doesn't mean you have to be a trigger happy executioner. Fearing for your life is a good reason to use deadly self defense. On the other hand, when you are facing down a pocket knife from a young girl(transgender whatever) and you're a grown man/trained officer you have no excuse not to use alternative measures. They didn't even attempt to pepper spray him/her. That and a taser would have settled the situation faster and cheaper.  |
