Agreed. On the other hand I don’t think mental illness should be a death sentence how hard would it be for two or three policeman to just take him down in a tackle.? Why is a knife considered deadly

I'm usually on the side of if you approach with a weapon you get shot but damn that was unnecessary. He didnt seem like a real threat at all.
