Sorry If i'm gonna be the only sentimental one here but. In viewing this I just think of the lose of life and the utter fear that must have been in those peoples minds. To jump takes a LOT of courage or utter dedication to to fact that you will die either way. Need to add. The cowards that caused this are nothing more than Idealistic, fanatic religeous zealots. Not the normal people of the world. Be frightened. There are more and more Christian fundamentalists appearing now. That's what we have to be frightened of. They get in power and...... Bye ,bye world.

Good question, and honestly one I have wondered about myself more than once. From my understanding, they would have been treated as victims of the fire. Notice I said from MY understanding. Ecclessiacticly they are victims of the fire, because it is simple human instinct to move away from fire that is cooking you alive. I am open to other's opinions on this one though. Zero, what do you think about it ? The reason I ask is because you are but one of a few that has asked the question. |

it was so horrible to see such public deaths,especially because these people did not want to die,again,so terrible,and compelling at the same time. RIP to all those people that had to make that impossible decision that day. |

i have done a lot of thinking as to what i would do,and in the end,i do not think religion came into it...as a Catholic myself,and suicide is considered a sin,what these people did that day is NOT suicide...it was just a horrible decision of do i slowly burn to death and suffer? or do i jump and in 10 seconds feel no pain,i have the utmost respect for those people that were forced into a terrible situation of no doing of their own...i know i would have jumped...at the very least to not have suffered as much.You cannot blame these people for doing what they did. Blame the bastards who put them in that situation in the first place.
