I'm not sure if this is your viewpoint, or if this was simply taken from another article. I'm assuming it's yours considering the many grammatical errors. To suggest that this officer did anything wrong is ridiculous. It doesn't matter if she called tf cops. And she sure a Hell wasn't showing behavior consistent with her only defending herself. She was violently pursuing the girl in the pink, while actively and repeatedly trying to stab her with a large knife. I feel bad for the officer for having to shoot a teenager like this, but anyone who acts like this should expect to get a bullet. Maybe teach your kids to not act like violent animals. Smh.
Columbus police shoot and kill Black teenaged girl who called them for help
M. B. was allegedly about to be assaulted by several adult women. So, she called the police for help. But, she was shot and killed.
As we celebrate the former Minneapolis D. C. police officer being convicted of second-degree involuntary manslaughter, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for the death of George Floyd, here we go again with reports of another black life lost at the hands, and guns - of police officers. This time, a teenage girl later identified as M. B., who was fatally shot by Columbus, Ohio police.
According to her aunt, H. B., she was the one who called the police, as well as her grandmother and father, for help. Apparently, the black teenager was living in a foster home. When several adult women came to his home, an altercation ensued. M. then grabbed a knife to defend himself.
"M. was in front of the house defending himself from a physical assault when the police arrived and he had already dropped the knife in the yard. But the police shot him four times without warning," Yahoo reports .
Several people witnessed the incident, including a woman named T. J. who wrote about it on Facebook. J. said the teen initially had a knife in her hand "because someone tried to jump on her."
H. said, " The police are going to lie . I'm so thankful someone from the family was at the scene. The police are going to lie. The police are going to cover up. They don't care. At this point, I feel like they just want to kill black people. They're not here to protect and serve. That's not happening. That stopped a long time ago. They're not here to protect and serve. They're here to kill black people.
After being shot , M. was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead. "She was good. She was loving, " her aunt continued. "... She didn't deserve to die like a dog in the street." protesters Since then, the arrived on the scene.
