In Cartagena, 47-year-old Óscar A.M.G. was shot dead whilst inside a shop, located a few metres from the apartment where he lived. The incident was witnessed by two women and the shopkeeper, neither of whom were harmed. Afterwards, the sicarios stole some of Óscar's belongings, including his cell phone.

Óscar had been arrested three times for drug trafficking, most recently in 2018.
