There's enough clearance for a child underneath most civilian vehicles. Maybe a bit more for this industrial vehicle. He probably only got beat up a bit underneath any part that wasn't the wheel...then he got beat up a bunch by the wheel.

The young worker was identified as D. C, 22. Died in Hospital. The vehicle would have been moved from the scene and only hours later the incident was reported to transit authorities.

How about a beeping warning sound when a truck backs up.
