Agonal breathing looks like breathing but it isn't. It is the reaction of the muscles to the heart/bloodcirculation that has stopped. If you would feel his pulse you wouldn't feel a thing.

I'm no physician, but based on the many videos I've seen on this site, I don't believe this is agonal breathing. Usually you see the breathing come in rhythmic five or six second bursts, and there seems to be an involuntary movement of the face and neck muscles that make the person appear like a "fish gasping for air". This dude just seems to be either breathing really hard or to have some kind of injury to his lungs that only allows for shallow breathing. I could be wrong of course |
