JAMBIUPDATE.CO, JAMBI. A man was found hanged dead at the Galaxy Auto Detailing Car Wash located at Jalan Sunan Drajat RT 02, Kenali Asam Village, Kotabaru District, Jambi City.
The victim is named MJ (33), a resident of Sumber Sari Village, Sumber Sari Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Kotabaru Police Chief, AKP Hanafi, when confirmed, said that the victim was first discovered by a Galaxy car wash employee on Monday (8/1) around 07.00 WIB in the morning.
"We received information that a man had been found dead and had hanged himself," he said, Monday (8/1) afternoon. Hanafi said that after receiving this information, the criminal investigation team together with the patrol immediately went to the crime scene and found the victim dead in a hanged position. "According to witnesses, the victim worked at the Galaxy car wash for only 1 day and before this incident the victim "I had time to confide in witnesses that the victim was having family problems with his wife," he explained.
The victim was then identified by the police and taken to Bhayangkara Jambi Hospital. "Arriving at Bhayangkara Hospital, the Criminal Investigation Unit contacted the victim's family, the victim's wife. The family then asked that the victim be taken to the funeral home to be buried immediately," said Hanafi.
The family refused to undergo an autopsy on the victim's body.
