If you watch the video, all the other cars were either ahead of or behind the biker. The cop didn't start shooting until the crook was alone in all 3 lanes.
That's probably why he kept walking so long on the sidewalk to the left, just waiting for things to get clear.
Good shooting by the cop....
I making more of a reference to the people standing across the street.

The person was talking about all the pedestrians in the line of fire. First thing I noticed, unless you saw a different version than I did. Glad the thief was killed, but at ALMOST too great a cost.

No reason to take a life over a bike. Unless life is threatened and you are in immediate danger there is no way this is justified. Take someone's life for a bike is not much different then if the guy who took the bike killed the owner to take the bike.

The officer didn't shoot him because he took a bike, he shot him because he used deadly force. He was prepared to kill over a bike. That kind of lowlife deserves little sympathy.. especially in Brazil.
