Bus Driver Dies when His Head Got Stuck Between the Doors of His Own Bus
Brazil, A 47 year-old bus driver died after a tragic incident on Sept. 19th. He had his body sandwiched between the doors of the bus he used to work with. According to MP there were no witnesses during the incident. Employees arrived at work before 6 am, at a gas station near the scene, and found the man stuck with his head between the doors of the bus.  Believing that he was still alive they, aided by other drivers, removed the body from the bus and called the police. The gas station employee told that the bus driver used to stop there every day at the same time. Apparently he was getting out of the vehicle as the doors closed, locking and pressing the driver's body. A mark on the right side of the victim's chest, indicates where the vehicle's door has impacted hiss body, which according to expertise he died by asphyxiated. A Police expert, accompanied by representatives of the bus company, were testing the bus door system. It was found that the system is pneumatic and that there are no safety devices to prevent possible crushing. |
