Re: Christians Kill Muslim in Pakistan
Yeah, I can totally tell those are devout Christians killing a poor innocent Muslim. Let's say that's true; now all you have to do to be able to condemn Christianity is show me in the Bible where it commands Christians to kill Muslims.... Without that, you just have a Muslim troll here trying to make ISIS look justified. |

Re: Christians Kill Muslim in Pakistan
Deuteronomy 17 If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant; 17:3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded; 17:4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel; 17:5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.* Luke 19:27: But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. Matthew 10:34: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. *For those Pauline types that think Christians aren't obliged to follow the law- Matthew 5:18: "Amen, I say to you that until Heaven and earth will pass away, one Yodh or one Taag and will not pass away from The Written Law until everything will happen." As far as the Qur'an goes, cherry pick all you like. Taken into context, it does not mean what ISIS says it does... which is why their population isn't 1.6 billion. They are scumbags and hijackers, not scholars. |

Re: Christians Kill Muslim in Pakistan
OMG!!!! Talk about context, you hypocrite! I'm not even a Christian & I can rip you apart: Deuteronomy 17 – take that up with Jews in a Theocracy. Maybe modern Israel? Oh that's right.... Luke 19:27 – The parable of the 10 minas or talents. It is the end of a story, & is neither a command nor an edict by Jesus, as can be easily read by any casual reader. Matthew 10:34 – Jesus is stating that people will have to leave families, etc. to follow him. It has nothing to do with a literal sword, again as even a casual reader can see. (And that's a rich example, coming from a Kentucky pig-fucker who betrayed his Christian family & his brothers-in-arms for the DUMBEST religion on this planet!) Matthew 5:18 – ______________________________________ Nice try, Moron, but point, set, & match to me!!!!! Maybe you should've learned more about your own religion when you were a "Christian," Kentucky-boy. But c'mon back anytime you want to be left ass-raped & bleedin' by a Western Fact-Cactus in front of the whole world! If you're lookin' for words-o'-comfort, by all means, call Dr. Jizz; I'm sure you two will get along famously! Bring some Blue-Grass, Blue-Ribbon Smoked Ham with ya' to get really kinky! |

Re: Christians Kill Muslim in Pakistan
This is going to be fun! The translation I used was from ARAMAIC. Jesus didn't speak the King's English. Also, you don't speak for every Christian as that "fulfillment" is often translated as "until Heaven and Earth pass away", which obviously hasn't happened. I'm not sure where you get the idea that I'm from Kentucky or engage in unnatural relations, but it certainly doesn't make you look like a better person. Take this debate into a public forum and I can assure you that your confidence would wane. Look, man. Some people fix cars as a hobby, I study theology. How many actual courses on the Bible have you completed? How many versions and translations do you own? There's not s singular voice for ANY religion. Again, the idea of reading comprehension eludes you. You call me a hypocrite because I took things out of context... you must not have read my previous statements where I said that's exactly how it works. I took those out of context, because of you read them as is then they certainly don't paint a pretty picture. However, that's not the message of Christianity*. Likewise, the verses people use in the Qur'an to support the idea that it's a violent religion are taken out of context. *There is no betrayal of anyone because of what I choose to believe or disbelieve. I defend everyone equally, as that is a pretty basic right (not just constitutionally, but as a human being). I don't hate other religions, certainly not Christianity. I just don't pray to Jesus nor see him as a diety... if you ever did study the histories of the religion and it's texts, you would know that my views are found even within early Christian communities. Jesus and his Apostles preached a different form of salvation than Paul. Just read James and Romans one after the other. Here's the difference between you and me- I'm willing to say that not a single act of murder, genocide, or other indefensible act of violence committed by Christians (in the name of Christ or otherwise) conforms to the ideals of Christianity as a whole... that people spread corruption about the earth no matter what they do or don't believe, and will twist whatever ideology suits them to support their actions. The same is true for Islam, yet I'm convinced that there is no way you would ever agree to that. It wouldn't matter what was presented to you either, mainly because of cognitive dissonance... and because you would rather argue than debate. Debates have the possibility of a solution, while arguments are cyclic. Facts don't change a thing. It's called the backfire effect. Maybe if you took a rest from talk radio and blogs, went to a library, and spent a few years reading and learning and less time spouting ignorance... Well I'm just saying that we all have two eyes, two ears, one mouth, so it's best to use them in proportion. |
