Not quick enough. He was lucky enough that those dying finger did not make another spasmic pull on the trigger or he would be next. pistol muzzle went in his direction for a while

It actually happens a lot here in Houston. So much that gun ranges will NOT RENT you a firearm if you do not bring one yourself or come alone.
