Presume his hip has been hurt before by the kidnapper with his knife. It was obvious that both of hostage's hands were holding that part while his neck was reined during the stand-off.

Something tells me that hostage never got of un scathed....You could clearly see her going for her gun...success rate of about 5% probably...but its China....hostage takers would have to be nuts to attempt a hostage take over their... |
