Did some research and reading. Fatty is a Chinese travel blogger with 5 mill followers who was living in Africa and met the dude who ultimately killed him while there. They became friends, as Chinese people often do abroad, especially when there aren't many around. Killer wanted to become a travel blogger too and Fatty agreed to mentor him. Except Killer was a weirdo and made strange videos and didn't get along with Fatty's entourage.

Killer asked Fatty to bring him a new phone from China on his vacation home and gave him about 10,000 yuan ($1500 USD). Fatty pocketed the money and didn't get him the phone, citing Killer owed him for the help he gave him starting his own channel. Killer's channel only had 50k followers due to his videos being weird and unpopular.

Killer says Farty gave him covid, took his 10,000 yuan, and had his black African friends harass him. Killer said he didn't dare kill him while still in Africa but would anywhere else. Since Fatty blogs about his travels Killer followed him to Nepal and stabbed him and his friend while a third friend ran away in the street.

Killer dude is a bit crazy and his photos show it. He looks like a weirdo.

Moral of the story is be wary of people.

People also said why didn't Killer resolve the money issue in court or get some friends to get the money back. Resorting to murdering him is insane. Which is a prime example Killer dude wasn't all that stable to begin with.
