Whatever the story, sad. It’s comforting to see they pretty much passed out at the same time; would have sucked if one somehow lasted much longer.

Life can be shit for a lot people. Makes me sad whatever drove them to this, but in the end, I think your life is your own to do what you want, even if that thing is ending it. So I can’t really judge people who kill themselves, unless they harm unwilling victims in the process.

They are probably from the area of Lohen, close to the Chinese border with Laos. They look like the people in that area. I know from attending funerals in close-by Myanmar that joss paper is often found in the mouths of suicides.
