Chevrolet Lacetti Driver Fatally Hits His Friend After a Quarrel
In Uzbekistan people are increasingly resolving conflicts with fists, knives and now with cars. A local resident had a quarrel with his friend five days ago and in the midst of the conflict, he got behind the wheel of his Lacetti and drove it straight at his opponent. The man died in hospital from his injuries, despite the efforts of doctors. A criminal case has been opened against the driver under Part 3 of Article 104 of the Criminal Code - intentional grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim. Punishment under this article provides for 8 to 10 years of imprisonment. The suspect has been detained. Investigative actions are currently being carried out with him. |
