It looks to me like the main man who is fighting those two men is the one who fired the shot. Notice he extends his arm toward the man in the blue before he goes down. It seems like the guy in the blue fired a shot inside, so he had a gun, but he didn't fire it at his assailant. This makes me think he didn't have the gun after the lone man first jumped him as he walked through the gate. I think the man who starts grappling with and kicking the shirtless man and the man in the blue clothes disarmed the man in the blue and then shot him when he got the fun figured out. It looks at one stage like he's trying to cock it.

Also the way the man in the tan pants, who was taking on the two guys, seems to be holding the blue guy's arm while he (guy in blue) tries to jerk away at the start of the scrap. Also the tan pant guy seems to axe handle instead of jab with his right hand, indicating he is holding something. |
